Camping Assisi
The Camoing
Fontemaggio Camping is one of the first in Italy and it is loved by all those who love to be in contact with nature. There are many pitches available for campers, trailers, and tents, as well as large spaces for buses. The Camping can easily be reached and is located at a 15-minute walk from the old town of Assisi. There are many alternative solutions to reach the old town for those who have problems walking, thanks to the many parking lots around the city or the efficient radio-taxi service.Info Camping
Many of our pitches are shady and have a splendid view on the Umbrian Valley. A beautiful playground set in nature (compliant with safety regulations) can be used by families who have children. We have chosen not to offer noisy entertainment activities because we consider it best for our Camping to be a quiet place. There is also a Bar-Tobacconist, that sells homemade gelato, and a mini-market with all the essentials, during high season. There are also 2 loading/unloading points for campers, electric plugs (1,5 KW-220 Volt-6,81 Ampère), a washer, dryer and showers with hot water.Electricity and hot showers are included in the price, and our prices are per night, meaning that one can stay all day until night time, without having to pay an extra day. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash (free). We do not rent tents.

3Reservation
You never need to reserve in our Camping, but it is always better to call around Easter and long holidays, just to make sure there are electric plugs available.
For big groups and Rallies (we often have this kind of events at Fontemaggio) it is possible to reserve Camping ground areas, in order to ease the setup of tents or parking of campers.
4Paragliding
The location of our Camping ground has always been appreciated by people who do paragliding, because the lift off is located right above the Camping ground.For information and reservations concerning tandem paraglider flights (also with transportation included) please visit this website www.parapendioindue.it
