Position
With its strategic position, Fontemaggio Hotel is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to stay close the old town of Assisi (the door that opens onto the medieval part is only 15 minutes away, by foot, taking a path in the country), but still immersed in the green park of Mount Subasio, easy to reach and where there are no problems parking cars, campers, or buses. There are many alternative solutions to reach the old town for those who have problems walking, with many parking lots around the city or the efficient radio-taxi service.Structure
The Hotel was built in a renovated 17th Century farmstead and has 15 rooms (some of which have a beautiful view on the Umbrian Valley or Assisi) with a bathroom, telephone, and television set, and they are cleaned every day. We have wi-fi in the hall and common rooms, that you can use with your own computer or smartphones.
Chapel consecrated
There is an original chapel close to the common rooms, consecrated to Saint Francis from Paola, that has direct access to the ancient road to the Hermitage of the Prison (Eremo delle Carceri), that can be reached in approximately 40 minutes. The chapel is often appreciated by groups accompanied by clergy who would like to say Mass, or by anyone who is looking for a quiet place to pray or meditate.More details

2Meals for groups
Meals for groups with full board include a first course, a second course with side dish and fruit or dessert.
Drinks and coffee are not included.
It is possible to have a buffet breakfast, with sliced meat and cheese, with 3 additional euro.
The lunch basket contains 2 sandwiches, one 1/2 litre bottle of water, 1 fruit and a dessert.
One free meal for every 25 people.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 9:30 am, if requested, and it is abundant, offering a wide variety of dishes, including homemade desserts and, when requested, sliced meat and cheese.
